Supporting a healthier community for all

The Bridging Health Duluth Coalition was created in 2016 with an original mission of supporting a healthier community for all. It was comprised of local organizations and community members with combined resources, skills, and expertise to help improve the health of all people in Duluth. Specifically, Bridging Health Duluth guided the development of a unified Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and subsequent Community Health Implementation Plan (CHIP) every three years. A unified CHNA, where multiple health systems joined together and agreed to strategic investments in improving community health, was a significant achievement. Bridging Health Duluth helped share the collective voice of underserved populations and uplift the population health needs of our community.

In 2026, the Bridging Health Duluth Coalition agreed to sunset. The time was right to re-evaluate partnerships, collective goals, and to consider what future collaborations might look like, based on the ever-changing needs of the Duluth community.
